Container Gardens

Star Gazing

June 18 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Come in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
because we are planting containers with flowers and veggies. We will supply the soil, plants and pots. Location: Outdoors at the NSRS Office.

July 23 6:30 - 8:30 pm
We will learn about the stars and different constellations in the night sky. Then finish up the night outside looking for the various star constellations, Snacks and beverages will be provided. Location: Pavilion at Dolton Park District.

4th of July Party

June 25 6:30 - 8:30 pm
July 4th is America’s birthday so let’s use this night to celebrate all birthdays with music, games, snacks and beverages. Location: TBA.

Sip and Paint

July 30 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Let’s get our creative juices flowing, while sipping (non-alcoholic) beverages, while creating a beautiful painting. All supplies and beverages are provided. Location: Commissioners Building, Dolton Park District.

Outdoor Scavenger Hunt

July 9 6:30 - 8:30 pm

We will form teams and see which one can find all of the items on the list. Then we will come together to have snacks and beverages. Location: Dolton Park District.

Night of Suprises

August 6 6:30 - 8:30 pm
We are not going to reveal what we have planned but you can bet it is going to be a good time!

Mini Golf

July 16 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Show off your putting skills in a friendly game of mini golf with your friends at the Family Fun Center mini golf course. After the game we will have a beverage, a snack and share some golf pointers with one another. Location: Family Fun Center, Calumet City.

Under the Stars

August 13 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Join us for a night with a full dinner and dancing under the stars. A dance contest may be part of the night’s festivities. Location: Dolton Main Fieldhouse
